I am suffering from back pain...

I am suffering from back pain caused by a herniated disc and fractured vertebrae for which the Spine Centre at VGH recommended that I have an epidural steroid injection at L4/5 of my spine. On August 7, 2018, I was advised by VGH that the earliest appointment I could make for this treatment was August 23, 2019. UBC Hospital advised that the waiting period was nine months. I was able to book the one hour procedure at the Cambie Surgery Centre for August 20, 2018, at my cost. Thank God for these clinics as the BC Medical Plan, hospital treatment delays would leave me in extreme pain for months, or years.
