I can cross into the US for procedures. Why not here in Canada?

I can cross into the US for procedures. Why can't I help support that industry here in Canada? I want to get extra care, ie., colonoscopy, MRI, etc. I don't need to be an extra burden on BC Medical with my wants. In fact, it would relieve BC Medical by taking me out of the line up.

Exactly .... if someone wants to pay for private treatment, it leaves more room for those who cannot afford it.
