Damage due to the longer wait...

gordon, Edmonton, AB

October 29th, 2014

My wife tore her knee in Feb of 2014 we paid for an Mri to have the problem diagnosed quicker. She suffered a meniscus and ligament tear in her right knee. We then had two doctors refer her to a orthopedic surgeon to this date on Oct 22 2014 we have still not heard from one. We paid to have this surgery performed on July 24th 2014 at the Cambie clinic.

Due to the longer wait and then deciding that we would have to have this procedure taken upon ourselves the surgery when performed showed damage to the knee was found to be much more extensive then the initial Mri showed.

The lack of concern from our medical system caused only more damage and pain. If the government wishes eliminate this type of option for those that have the means to do it then they should provide a timely and efficient system to prevent pain and further damage .
