Charter Health Crowd

Injured on the job.

William, Edmonton, AB

October 16th, 2016

Injured on the job. Did not find out until after I left. If WCB does not accept my claim 9 months post injury I will be subject to a minimum 2 year waiting list. I need to be treated quickly so I can return to the work force. Why should I risk everything under the current health care system, waiting for surgery when I also have the option to receive my treatment via private means. Having the option to seek private medical care sooner rather than later costs the government nothing, rather it benefits them due to the simple fact that you get a healthy tax payer back in the work force. What logical benefit could the government possibly realize by forcing citizens only one medical treatment option - one that would potentially keep a tax payer out of the work force. No work, No Paying Taxes. Simple
