My mother waited 8 WEEKS to FAIL a stress test...

My mother waited 8 WEEKS to FAIL a stress test + be told that she required a 3X coronary bypass 'YESTERDAY.' OVER YEARS, incompetent family doctor REFUSED to entertain the possibility of a genetic predisposition, kept sending her to an RD. Due to our BROKEN healthcare system, she was not able to SELECT another family doctor.

My father waited 6 MONTHS to be seen by an ENT specialist and diagnosed w/ an ultimately fatal form of head + neck CA. Died 3 years later, following a 19-hour surgery (wait time = 1.5 months) at the time of diagnosis.
