People have to wait, wait and wait some more...

I am waiting and to hear the exact date. Currently, I experience intense pain either late afternoon or at night even though I take a pain killer;Iam finding it harder and harder to get around and at times I am dependent on someone to make dinner, do laundry etc.(have not gone downstairs to the Machines. Today a weird phone call-the original surgeon I was referred to phoned a year after the referral. He suggested by mail to go to a clinic where the advice was wrong;consequently, I was referred to a true specialist for surgery . Waiting time 3 to 6 months. I never expected that health care had slipped so much . I have only been in hospital twice for minor surgery. Now I wait for knee surgery. At times I feel angry,powerless and just a nobody. The medical system needs a complete overhaul if people have to wait, wait and wait some more. And I blame government for the decline.
