I still have places to go, things to do and people to meet

Myrna, Calgary, AB

May 19th, 2014

I am 70 years old but I still have places to go, things to do and people to meet. I have been doing the doctor waltz for a year now in hope of getting knee replacement. The knees are getting worse and thus my life is more limited. I have twice seen a surgeon and each time he finds a referral he is sure in necessary, then it is back to my doctor to get a referral to see the surgeon. I am told there is a three to four month wait when the surgeon agrees to do the surgery and then there is recovery time. This is wasting my life. If I do go privately someone else can move up on the list.
