As a 76 yo hoping to enjoy my remaining years with minimal cost to the health care system I find myself waiting to see a neurosurgeon/nerve block specialist. I have spinal stenosis with considerable nerve pain. Following advice to avoid painful activity would result in bed rest. Speedy access to a specialist would help me maintain my general health and fitness level.
