Irene, Vancouver, BC

November 15th, 2018

Im a 52 yr old female whos been waiting 2 yrs for a knee replacement and an ankle surgery. Ice yet to even meet the ankle surgeon. Ive got degenerative bone diseases. Im housebound at present.

This had led to severe depression. I have no life, cannot work. I myself work in healthcare. Something must be done fast.

Dear Irene, I am a Dutch journalist working on a documentary story about waiting list for surgeries and the health care system in Canada and especially Vancouver. Would it be possible to get in touch with you to talk about your story?
